My name is Phil Larmon. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, but I have been thawing out in Los Angeles since 2005.
Before the boardroom, I was a D-I football captain at Youngstown State University and played professionally for two years. Football taught me preparation, discipline, trust, resilience, teamwork, and execution.
Today, I wear a different uniform, but the drive, determination, and commitment to excellence have not changed.
I am a commercial executive, operator, investor, connector, trusted resource to early-stage founders, and a founder with the scars to prove it. I understand the pressure, uncertainty, isolation, and responsibility of building something from nothing.
As Founder and CCO of Trinity Strategic Group, I work at the intersection of founders, capital, technology, and community. I see opportunities others miss, bring the right people into the room, and turn trusted relationships into revenue, partnerships, and enterprise value.
I have driven hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, built markets from the ground up, and secured partnerships involving governments, public companies, investors, and early-stage startups.
My greatest asset is not a title or contact list. It is trust and loyalty earned over decades. People answer my calls because they know I care, keep my word, and follow through.
Community is not a marketing tactic. It is a strategic advantage and a responsibility. The strongest opportunities emerge when people feel seen, supported, and connected to something larger than themselves.
Along the way, I successfully lobbied government policy, became an author, speaker, Techstars mentor, Chairman of MY6.org, podcast co-host, university advisory board member, and executive producer of films that premiered at Sundance and Tribeca. I am proud of those accomplishments, but they are mile markers, not the destination.
The questions that matter are: What will we do next? Who will we help? What impact will we create beyond ourselves?
I find greater satisfaction in helping founders, teammates, and communities succeed than in any individual achievement. Sports taught me TEAM, before ME.
At my core, I believe business is human. Now more than ever, relationships matter. Culture matters. How we treat people matters.
If I can offer you a perspective from someone who's lost many:
"Smile, laugh, love, and hug the people around you every day. Let them know exactly how you feel about them."
Be well. I hope our paths cross, we solve something worth solving, and still make time for a laugh, a high-five, and maybe even a hug!
, Phil
